To connect to the internet with eSIM io, data roaming must be enabled on your device. If roaming is turned off, the eSIM cannot connect to a local operator, and your internet will not work.
👉 Note: On iOS devices, roaming settings can be configured separately for each SIM. This means you can keep roaming off for your personal line while keeping it on for eSIM io.
On Android devices, depending on the model, roaming may be a single setting for all SIMs. In this case, you must enable roaming on your device for eSIM io to function.
iOS:
To use eSIM io for internet access, international roaming must be enabled. If roaming is off, the eSIM cannot connect to the local operator.
👉 On iOS, roaming can be set individually for each SIM. You can leave it off for your personal line and enable it for eSIM io.
Android:
To use eSIM io for internet access, international roaming must be enabled. If roaming is off, the eSIM cannot connect to the local operator.
👉 On Android devices, roaming settings may vary by model:
- If separate settings exist for each SIM, enable roaming for eSIM io.
- If there is only a single roaming option for all SIMs, make sure it is turned on.
✅ In both cases, ensure roaming is enabled for eSIM io to connect to the internet.
